Relationships education, relationships and sex education (RSE) and health education.
The new curriculum will become mandatory from September 2020 but as a school will are choosing to adopt aspects of the new curriculum this year.
There are six topic areas, one for each half term. The headings below give some guidance to content for Early Years and Key Stage One and how that might differ for Key Stage Two. The children have already had workshops based around relationships, friendships and drugs and medicines from the people at SCARF. Next term further lessons in class will begin using the SCARF resources.
The full curriculum will be implemented from September of this year.
We will be holding a healthy living week as usual in the summer term. More details to follow on this.
