On Thursday 28th March, year 6 visited Torre Abbey. While we were there, we learnt about the origins of the abbey and dressed up in the outfits the monks that originally lived there would have worn. We visited the Spanish Barn and learnt about how it housed nearly 400 prisoners captured by Sir Francis Drake, we made Tudor roses from clay while sat in the gardens in the sunshine and we explored the museum, ruins and gardens.
