Covid-19 – reminder
Dear Parents and Carers,
We have been made aware of a rising number of COVID cases in local schools and pre-schools. We would like to reassure you that the school is continuing to follow all of the Covid guidelines we set out in our Covid risk assessment and that school staff are testing twice per week. Many staff are also now vaccinated.
As a community, we ask all our families to continue to follow all COVID guidance in order to keep everyone safe, including wearing a face covering at drop off and pick up times, as well as socially distancing.
Please do not bring your child to school if he/she has any Covid symptoms. If your child or anyone in your household is showing any of the symptoms of Covid-19, the household must also self-isolate. The individual(s) displaying symptoms must take a PCR test (not a lateral flow test). The symptoms include:
• a high temperature
• a new, continuous cough
• a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste.
To book a test, please click here. You could be fined if you do not follow Covid-19 guidelines.
These are guidelines made by Public Health England /Government publications so please can I request that these are followed.
Many thanks for your continuing support.
Mrs Annabelle Thomas
Head of School
