Letter to Parents/Carers

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope that you all managed to have a relaxing and safe half term, despite the wet weather!

I just wanted to write to you following the announcement on Saturday to say that there are currently no changes to primary guidelines. Our risk assessment continues to be updated fortnightly and is quality assured by both the Governors and Trust. These are sent out to you and on the website when changes are made. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me for more information. As soon as any changes to the guidelines are made, I will be in touch to update. The safety and well-being of the pupils and staff continues to be a top priority.

I would also like to update you of our staffing from January 2021. I am very pleased and proud to say that Mr Williams our Deputy Head of School, has secured a secondment at Kenn Primary School which is one of our Trust schools from January until July. I am sure you will join me in congratulating him on this appointment.

To replace him for these 6 months, Mr Douglas from TCS Exeter Road will be joining us, to be our Deputy Head of School for this time. He has 17 years teaching experience and a wealth of leadership knowledge and so I am sure will slot in very well here. There will be sufficient time built in for a handover to make this as seamless a transition as possible.

We are currently discussing the safest and most enjoyable way to host our Christmas events this half term, and as soon as I have more information, I will update you accordingly.

Yours sincerely

Mrs Annabelle Thomas
Head of School
